Measures to Support Accessibility
Atria Senior Living, Inc. has taken the following measures to ensure that the Atria Senior Living Website is accessible:
- Engaged Digital Marketing staff in ongoing education and training, including a minimum requirement that all team members complete the W3C edX Intro to Web Accessibility certification
- Designed and tested the Atria Senior Living Website against the standards for accessibility in the WCAG 2.1 Level AA standards using both Axe DevTools and end user testing
- Employed formal accessibility quality assurance methods for all digital content
- Established an accessibility team, A11y at Atria, to develop accessibility policy and set standards for education and training on the Digital Marketing team
Please note that the solutions third party vendors provide may not meet these standards, as Atria does not have access to or control vendor-proprietary source code. Atria is actively encouraging the vendors of third party services used on the Atria Senior Living Website to meet the guidelines listed above. In addition to the measures accomplished above, Atria is working toward:
- Ensuring everyone on the Atria Digital Marketing Team is an advocate for accessibility
